Ingredients
- 2 cup Whole wheat flour
- 1 cup Cooked Bengal gram
- 2 numbers Medium size Onion (finely chopped)
- 3-4 numbers Green Chilies (finely chopped)
- ½ cup Grated Beetroot
- ½ tsp Red Chili powder
- 1 tsp Carom seeds (Ajwain)
- Chopped Dil Leaves (as per taste)
- Salt to Taste
- Ghee or Oil for Roasting
Instructions
- In a bowl add finely chopped onion, green chilies, grated beetroot & Dill leaves.
- Add whole wheat flour, salt to taste, carom seeds & cooked Bengal gram, and make a nice & soft dough.
- Take a little bit of oil in your hand and apply to the dough and keep it for 10 mins.
- Make small dough balls & roll the ball to a circle or triangle shape using a rolling pin (not too Thin or Thick).
- Heat griddle and cook the rolled dough using ghee/clarified butter on both sides till golden brown.
- Serve the paratha with green chutney, pickle & curd.
