Dal Ke Parathe is the healthiest Indian bread made of leftover cooked Bengal Grams.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cup Whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup Cooked Bengal gram
  • 2 numbers Medium size Onion (finely chopped)
  • 3-4 numbers Green Chilies (finely chopped)
  • ½ cup Grated Beetroot
  • ½ tsp Red Chili powder
  • 1 tsp Carom seeds (Ajwain)
  • Chopped Dil Leaves (as per taste)
  • Salt to Taste
  • Ghee or Oil for Roasting

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl add finely chopped onion, green chilies, grated beetroot & Dill leaves.
  • Add whole wheat flour, salt to taste, carom seeds & cooked Bengal gram, and make a nice & soft dough.
  • Take a little bit of oil in your hand and apply to the dough and keep it for 10 mins.
  • Make small dough balls & roll the ball to a circle or triangle shape using a rolling pin (not too Thin or Thick).
  • Heat griddle and cook the rolled dough using ghee/clarified butter on both sides till golden brown.
  • Serve the paratha with green chutney, pickle & curd.
